Fox already has one Deschanel sister as the lead on a popular show—could the other be joining her on the network? Emily stars as Dr. Temperance Brennan on the procedural drama Bones which has seen a guest appearance from sister Zooey Deschanel as Brennan's cousin. Now, Zooey could be getting her own television show on Fox.
New comedy pilot for Fox
According to TVGuide, Zooey will be taking the lead in a new comedy show pilot which “explores the sexual politics of men and women through a female who moves in with three gruff men.”
Right now, the pilot doesnÂ’t have a name, though it was once said to be called Chicks & D---s. Does this sound like it has what it takes to make it into a full series?
This new series comes from Liz Meriwether, co-writer of the Natalie Portman-Ashton Kutcher movie, No Strings Attached, which looks at what happens when best friends try a “friends with benefits” relationship.
