To listen to the supporters of Arizona's controversial racial profiling law, 50% of the people are in favor of the law. This "candid camera" video might lead one to doubt that claim of 50%. Notice that many of the people protesting the racial profiling are Anglo.

I didn't need to watch the video... I saw the show. At least one person told the "security guard" the law didn't mean private cops could "enforce" it. Pretty powerful show. Pretty gutsy folks.

Thanks for the link, George. It shows how out of touch legislators can be with their constituents when a vocal minority pushes through their views. It may have been more chilling if they could have videoed candid, actual law inforcement officers confronting people. I don't know about Arizona, but some states have laws that actually make it a crime to videotape law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties. How this law could be considered anything but racial profiling is beyond common sense to me. Other states have proposed legislation pending based on the Arizona law..... :^(
