I think , after reading your accumulated writings, that you still have room to expand. I think you need to do a Hanukkah feast with chicken soup, matzo balls, brisket (or chicken) and potato latkes. It's one of the elements your broad culinary collection lacks. Haha.

Even I have done a yule log cake and all the traditional Christmas meals I can imagine. Oh, and I've catered several Easter feasts as well. So I'm throwning down the challenge. Make a Hanukkah dinner this year...and be glad I didn't ask you to do a Passover Seder. Hahahaha.

oh-oh.....The gauntlet has been thrown....

I don't know Donna.....I might have to get the help of one (or more) of my Jewish friends who cook to guide me on this one!!!!

Hanukkah I might be able to handle, but no way would I do a Passover Seder....I've participated in two and the amount of dishes and the 'exactness' of the preparations were quite daunting!!!

We shall see..... ;-)

My friend, you should consider producing a cookery book, Hawaiian style - traveling around the islands. It'd be a winner!

Thank you, Magi, I have a small, modest cookbook that is now on its second printing....I wish I could find someone to publish a nice cookbook with photography....even my little one was expensive to produce....I don't have the funds to do it again !

It is very expensive ... finding a publisher to bear the cost is the way to go ... but rather hard to accomplish.

I know.

So far I get a lot of comments from many people to the effect that they love my recipes and I should have cookbooks published but no kind fairy godmother has said 'we will publish your book!'

Perhaps the best way to go is to secure a literary agent ... one located in mainland America. But I don't know how to go about doing that.

Apparently, agents and publishers in today's market want to represent/publish someone with a proven record - apparently having self-published a book with enough sales to merit a second printing doesn't count :-(
At least that is the response I get when I try to make inquiries
