YES!   Washington will never be the same once this man has sat in the oval office.

Sure hope he has a conservative House and Senate.

hmm... it will be interesting, to say the least!
You're right Sandi. We haven't gotten to hear him under the pressure of debates or TV pundits that have him faced off with other candidates, etc.
It may be some of these things are impossible under the pressure of reality.

not impossible... he will probably do better than a non-TV person. We focus a lot on what we see.

I'd bet he would get a lot of votes, but doubt he would win? I often think we could use somebody like him now though, straighten some things out and not worrying about getting re-elected as a priority. A real A$$*&^%, somebody everyone will hate by the time his term is done (You're Fired!), but fixes the financial disaster this country has become, LOL.
Yep ... that sounds like him :)

It may be when he is faced with politicians that know the ropes his intentions won't hold water. But on the other hand ... there's always hope.

I put all candidates through a test of some critical issues. I have no idea how well Trump will score. Does anyone know if he is going to be at CPAC?

Yikes. Reading your linked article- it doesn't look like Trump is very supportive of free trade. China isn't screwing us, Washington is.
You know what Matthew, I'll admit my knees buckled lately. I began to think we did make a big mistake. It isn't based on facts :) just desperation.
That's why it is so important to hear him in debates or at least having many other candidates that are responding to all that he says.
IF he has some unique ways of handling the problems and they seem plausible, I would be open to consider them.
It would have to be a whole, well thought out venture. Maybe we would change things only till we got on our feet and established new ways of working in the current world economy. Right now, I'm for anything that will help us get America right.

I like what The Donald has to say; Now if the media would only take him seriously.
Hopefully, when his show ends in June, he'll be able to get down to business. Neal Cavuto, on Fox had him promise to announce on his show :)

I don't know if you read this before, but it is against the law for him to announce a run as long as he has his own TV show. That's why there's a wait.

The great thing about a Trump presidency would be that we wouldn't need a vice president: he could house his ego in that office.

It would be interesting to see him run; wonder if he would fare better than Ross Perot? --Joe
I thought about that Joseph :) You almost can't think about Mr Perot without smiling. He may have worked wonders. Also, it may have prevented us getting where we are now. Who knows.

But he is just so NON presidential looking. Have you watched how tall all our presidents have been? At least over the last 50 years or so. And they have regular sounding voices. I think there is something working inside us that recognizes the advantage of a tall, confident, subdued presentation. Right or wrong, I think that's one thing we respond to.
In some way Mr Trumps moral life style may be a bit of a negative as the press will report on every affair. On the other hand, I really feel that he has much integrity as a business man & is much respected.
Right now, I'm not looking for sainthood and angelic control, I want an honest CEO that already know the business world overseas as well as at home :) :)

You wrote this post back in February, and then I was thinking, "Yeah I could vote for him." But I'm not thinking that now!
I know just what you mean Lady. I heard that bit of a speech they had to blurb out. I hope his arrogance isn't blinding him. I think the seat of President is something to be respected and he's already using such language from the stage. Maybe the 'real him' isn't presidential material. I'm feeling kind of sad about it.
