Dr. Phil's doggie troubles just keep getting worse and worse. The latest reports surrounding the dog bite lawsuit paint a picture of Maggie that isn't a pretty one.
Maggie, who according to recent reports has a violent nature toward other animals apparently also has a violent past when it comes to humans. This will only cause more troubles in an already escalating lawsuit for the McGraws.
"That dog bit me a few times," a source close to the McGraw family told RadarOnline.com. "And I know she also bit an employee of theirs; that person had to go to the hospital and get stitches in their heel."
It's currently unknown if Janet Harris, the victim who finally did press charges was aware of this history or not. It'd seem likely that she would have had some inkling of an idea if the dog's behavior was as frequent as it appears to have been. Friends typically get to know the house pets pretty well after being around them so often.
However, it's also plausible that Maggie was kept away from Ms. Harris more times than not while she visited the family. This would have made it difficult at best for her to have any idea that Maggie had a propensity to bite others.
"Staff at the house used to try to keep Maggie away when people turned up. They had to throw treats so Maggie would get distracted and go into another room away from where visitors were," the source told Radar Online.
Whether or not Ms. Harris knew about Maggie's temper is an unknown factor, however both Dr. Phil and Robin did know.
"The McGraws were told about Maggie," the source told RadarOnline.com. "So many people didn't feel safe around her, they would literally run away from her.
The man who made a name for himself for telling it like it is has found himself in a bit of hot water. It seems that someone should have given him a dose of his own telling it like it is when the attacks first began. Perhaps they did. You can tell someone to do something until you are blue in the face, but you cannot force them to take action. Either way, the McGraws are in a heap of trouble, and Maggie isn't looking all that innocent either.
