Super Bowl Half Time Show

I just watched the Super Bowl Halftime Show and it was one of the worst I have ever seen. The Black Eyed Peas were off key and once in a while their mics weren't working right. Then Usher came on and he was the only one singing on key. Terrible show that was, in my opinion. Loved the light up suits on the dancers though.

I saw the BEP in concert and they were amazing. Fergie has a great voice. The sound system sucked and it's a darn shame.

Again - the sound system. She probably couldn't hear herself and her earpiece wasn't working properly. Trust me, that girl has pipes.

yea thats what i thought they were off key and her mic want working But the suits were awesome..

Sound system was definately off... I like The Black Eye Peas so was alittle sad that it could have been better if the sound was up to par..

I guess I should have been a sound engineer since it always peeves me when anything like this happens. I remember seeing Survivor at a Riverboat Days concert and the vocals were so loud and distorted. But when I got a lot further away, it sounded fine! Too bad this happened. I was watching Sarah Palin's tribute to Reagan and that sounded pretty bad too -- not just the sound, but it was like she had too much Alaskan berry wine! Hopefully the Super Bowl ads were better. Thanks for posting this!

There was no excuse for the poor microphone pickups, or the out-of-tune BEP. On the other hand, I marveled at the choreography and lighting effects, especially the usage of LED's within the costumes worn by the dancers. Otherwise, this was one of the best halftime shows I've seen in Super Bowl history.

It totally sucked. And it looked like the lights were shorted out on the word "LOVE", too! I think somebody's getting fired, LOL. And to top it off, Christina Aguilara got the words wrong on the National Anthem. Geez!

I was not sure who the black eyed peas were. I was cooking and watching it at the same time and if that is how they sing..... Luckily I slept through the first half of the game HAHA
The thing we were talking about was all the smoke and such. That is a dome.... where does all that go?? People are actually breathing that in?
Anyhoo being someone who does not watch that usually, I thought what a waste of time! We were not impressed.
I am glad to hear that is not the way they sang all the time. Maybe with the technology of a sound studio they need to stay in a studio and not do things live??

Yes the show was good but the people singng were horrible. We had a big conversation that in studios they can make the most horrible sounding person sound wonderful, as long as they have the look and the moves then all is good. You know the look that makes others starve themselves, and think they are not good enough for anything else, although I have to say except for slash the rest were not that pretty anyways.

I was disappointed - Fergie overdid it on the first song and I think her voice was hurting for every song after that. The sound was so bad that you could not even hear USher singing. It looked like he was just lipsyncing (although I know he wasnt). This had the potential to be a great show and just wasn't.

oh really that bad. It has been awhile sence I watched the superbowl I was pregant with Jaimie the year the steelers won. for 2008 year so that was the last time.

I didn't think it was too bad. The sound system was horrible though. You think it would have been better in "one of the best stadiums ever"
