Lindsay Lohan is now facing felony charges for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, CA jewelry shop.
The troubled star has vehemently denied the accusations that she's facing, telling media that she simply borrowed the necklace. The story isn't holding much water with anyone, and now she's facing a possible 3 year jail stint in state prison if convicted. As a result she seems to think that she's simply an easy target for people to make up stories about.
Sources that TMZ claims are connected to LiLo have said that the starlet has lamented about being an easy target.
"People just don't believe me and know I'm in a vulnerable position," the sources claim Lindsay said.
Perhaps she's right about that, but being an easy target doesn't mean that you didn't do the crime that you are accused of having done.
In addition, Lindsay has been telling everyone that "Nothing is worth going back" to jail. Only she's forgetting one very large detail. She's not going back to jail. She instead is facing prison, which will make jail look like a picnic by comparison.
Mix up or not, LiLo is in a great deal of hot water, and like always she's deflecting the blame on others rather than stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility. Perhaps her assistant forgot to file the paperwork. It happens, but don't paint yourself as a victim when instead you should come to the realization that if you want something done right you just might have to do it yourself.
What do you think? Was this all a misunderstanding or did LiLo really steal the necklace?

She has shown she thinks she is above the law and entitled, different than the rest of us who would have been given time in prison. She has gotten so many "chances" it's sad she didn't deal with this before it got this far.
But yes, she's had loads of chances, and she should have made sure everything was in order to avoid a situation such as this one.
That is what gets to me... what we read about stars is that they get different treatment and I really think this only encourages their belief of entitlement...
It's amazing sometimes... if you think about it, that she thinks she is an "easy" mark.... when so many people connected to her and her trials and tribulations have worked so hard to get her into rehabilitation and off drugs... it is sad.
I agree completely with you on the entitlement and the rehab aspects. She's got clouded judgment all around. At her age she should step up and be a responsible adult.
