Quilt of my own design

When my daughter was small she had these great shirts and receiving blankets and such that I didn't want to get rid of so I kept them and one day I came up with a idea to make something out of them.  I made a quilt, got the idea from a previous sewing project (see previous post about Quilt in a Bag)  Here is what I made.  The picture really doesn't do it justice sorry.

that's a great idea! i've been getting rid of most of my daughter's clothes, but there are some things i've kept for sentimental reasons. might have to try something like this!

Yeah there are just some things that you hate to give up but this way those things are put together and you end up with something nice.
