The Australian hospital has officially released Jimmy Buffet after his fall off the stage. The 64-year-old Margaritaville singer had fallen off stage at a sold-out concert in Sydney, Australia. Jimmy Buffet was in the midst of singing Lovely Cruise, when he fell and shocked his band and fans alike.
According to Sydney’s St. Vincent Hospital spokesperson, Denise Coughlan, Jimmy Buffet was “discharged.” Coughlan explained that the singer arrived at the Australia hospital “at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening” after his fall.
Coughland said that Buffet was just released, “It was within the last two hours and he’s going to be fine."
Dan Bateman is an eyewitness to Jimmy Buffet's fall off stage. He said, that “during a performance of Lovely Cruise and fans were shocked. We were told to leave the premises. No one really wanted to leave because everyone was anxious to know if he survived the fall.”
The Buffet fans were undoubtedly shocked to see the front man singing and then all of a sudden take a spill. Fortunately, he has been discharged from the Australian hospital, and he will be fine. This accident could have ended with more serious consequences for the Jimmy Buffet. Thank goodness it did not!
