It wasn't a good day for Katie Holmes at the Sundance Film Festival. The actress had a small role in a film starring Al Pacino and Channing Tatum which received anything but an ovation during it's screening on Monday.![]()
A source tells Us Weekly, "When Katie showed up on screen, there was a collective groan. She plays the wife of a Queens' cop [Tatum] and she was completely miscast. They have her cursing a lot. And when she swore, there were chuckles." The Hollywood Reporter confirms that people actually walked out of the screening before the credits rolled and at the end, no one clapped.
The film, called The Son of No One, isn't the only thing in Katie Holmes' career that didn't fare so well. Many people were highly anticipating her performance as Jackie Onassis in the miniseries The Kennedys which was pulled from The History Channel before it's scheduled air date.
It will be interesting to see where Holmes goes from here.
