In the latest "Breaking Dawn" movie news, the "Twilight" love child of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is being talked about on the internet ahead of the 2012 film release. The actress playing the half-human, half-vampire child that will be born to their characters Bella Swan and Edward Cullen has just recently been identified online.
In the popular "Twilight" stories by Stephenie Meyer, Bella and Edward's child is named Renesmee. According to Us Magazine, the 10-year-old actress who landed the role is Mackenzie Foy. While Foy hasn't done a lot of acting work, she has appeared in advertising campaigns for the likes of Walt Disney, Target, Mattel, Burger King and BlackBerry. She has appeared on a few television shows including "Hawaii Five-O" and "FlashForward." Foy's big movie role will officially begin in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2."
Early comparisons will likely start between Mackenzie Foy and her co-star Dakota Fanning (pictured from 2005 via Wikipedia). Fanning had her breakthrough role at the very early age of just 7 years old in the movie "I Am Sam" which co-starred Sean Penn. Fanning plays an important role as Jane of the Volturi in the "Twilight" movies, and she is a good friend of Kristen Stewart as well. She may even be a great mentor to the newest young cast member.
Of course this movie news also reveals a major spoiler to movie fans that may not have read the books. That is that Bella Swan, not Kristen Stewart, will be pregnant at some point in the next film. So far there's no reports that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are expecting any sort of child. In the movies they had to get married first.
What do you think of the choice of McKenzie Foy to play the love child of Bella and Edward? Could she be the scene-stealer in the final "Twilight" film?
