Oprah Winfrey is said to be unhappy about Sarah Ferguson's show that is due to appear on her OWN network. In fact, she is so unhappy she has arranged for some re-shooting, thereby delaying the show's premiere.
According to a report from RadarOnline, the show in question was designed to be a big comeback for Fergie. Oprah, however, has thus far found it a bit boring, and has said it doesn't reveal nearly enough about the real Sarah Ferguson. She finds the footage a little bit disappointing at this stage of the game, and knows that her audience will be expecting more.
Oprah Winfrey's OWN network will feature Finding Sarah, which is intended to be a six-part series on the life of the Duchess of York. Initially set to premiere this coming spring, she now says the show will likely start in the summer instead.
This show on Oprah's network might be exactly what Sarah Ferguson needs to remedy her reputation that has several times been tarnished in the public eye. She was photographed topless while having a man suck on her toes about 15 years back, which ultimately resulted in her divorce from Prince Andrew. Just a few months ago she attempted to sell info about the prince to a businessman for a hefty sum of money before getting caught by a British tabloid. Perhaps the show will allow Fergie the format for explaining some of her bizarre actions, as well as some of the unfortunate ways she was treated while a part of the royal family.
Oprah Winfrey won't let anything go on the air--most especially her OWN network, until she's certain it's a sure fire hit. That's undoubtedly the main reason behind the delay of Fergie's show. Once the content is beefed up a bit, Oprah will likely give the go ahead and Finding Sarah will debut to a very willing and ample audience.
