So, I reached 267lbs, and with the help and encouragement of my doctor, I started Medifast. It turns out I'm allergic to something in the low-carb products. I haven't discovered which ingredient (It's not worth it to me to go through that process), but I have tummy issues with these products.
I decided to switch to Atkins and just use regular food. In 9 weeks, I've lost 29lbs. Great, but I'm having other issues like heart burn, and times when I'm ravenously hungry.
I think I need to find a good middle line approach. I want to start with high protein, low fat. I think I want to try to add in fruits and vegtables without limiting them to see how I do. I think I'll need to find a way that works with my body and metabolism. One size fits all programs may not work for me anymore.
Any ideas?

I've started buying/eating a few Lean Cuisine entrees, like the pizza.....don't care for most of their entrees, but the pizza is good.
If you find something good that works, let me know! It's so frustrating being so heavy and having such difficulty losing weight!
