Any better today? I almost called, but thought you might be sleeping. I was just sitting at dance....
It seems that many people missed the announcement. I think I posted it in another edition of Today on Gather. There were lots of winners in the contest.
I don't feel good, my internet is not getting fixed and I am just in an all around bad mood.
Connie....you can get a $20 Amazon GC for $10 today....that's a great deal. I bought one.

Haven't heard.
There are several groups that were once open to all the Gather community to post on. These groups were called "Gather Essential". The name has been changed to "Gather Channel" and gather members are no longer allowed to post to them. They are only open for SkyWriters to post on.
One example is the once called "Gather News Essential" group. It is now called the "Gather News Channel" and is only available for SkyWriters to post too.
Any group that is called "Gather Channel" is no longer open to the gather community to post on. However theire are still many gather groups that are still called "Gather Essential" and members can post to them.
Does that make sense?

I never doubted that Gather would add contests. I think they were just busy with the new SkyWriters program. It must be very time consuming when you add such a huge addition to a site.
