BIG news! My long-lost daughter found me online!

Long story short, she has known my name for about a year, and found me within ten minutes of searching online.

: )

She contacted me on Facebook and we talked on IM for ELEVEN hours yesterday. It is so amazing to be in contact with her. Please pray that we will be able to reunite in person SOON!

UPDATE:

A lot has happened in the past month, and today my daughter told me that her dad knows she's been talking to me and won't call me. But she wants me to call him. Tonight. So PLEASE everybody pray for my daughter and me!

Yes. Long story, but she was adopted by her paternal grandparents, and then they stopped letting us see her. Some "open" adoption, huh?

CONGRADULATIONS, MY mother would never tell me who my father was, found out who was after she died. got to see him twice, second time it was at his furneral. Never got to know him

Wow, Larry. Sorry to hear that... glad you got to see him. My friend Rex had the same problem... all he knew was that his dad went by the name of "Cookie" and I don't think he ever found him.

Didn't find out I was adopted until I was 15, after that everytime a strange man came to the house I would wonder if it was my father comeing to rescue me.

I just started using FB again a few months ago, or she might have left me a message and gone months waiting to hear my reply. Everything happens for a reason...
I'm so happy for you Lydia. You are so nice and likable your daughter is going to be thrilled knowing you are her Mom.
I take it she is still under 18 if an attorney is needed. I'll pray also. I know every one on here will :)
One of my granddaughters & her Mom found her Dad probably ... 4 months ago. It has really been a wonderful thing. We love him and love his family. My granddaughter is 20.
I can't wait for you too to see each other.

Well, her grandparents found her asleep and still logged on to the computer about a month ago and un-friended me from her profile. Only yesterday did she re-connect with me... and they have pretty much made it clear that they'll punish her for communicating with me.

I talked to her father and he was vague, mumbled something unintelligible, and hung up on me. That was a couple of months ago.

But I am still praying for a happy ending and waiting patiently for God to work His will. She has turned the corner since they put her on abilify and does not sound as desperate as she did before, but whether she comes here or stays there my earnest desire is for her to be happy and healthy. <3
