First foggy morning thought knocked on my head
Why not spend Sunday lazing in my bed?
My husband complied - toasted bread, egg fried
Served with coffee and a tray on the spread
“Delicious† I cried - in ecstasy sighed
So grateful that I’m still his chosen bride
Then I tuned the TV to channel nine
Great Performances took me for a ride
Wolf Trap’s “Face of America†so fine
Dance on location in nature sublime
Maui, Yosemite, a Coral Reef
Check it out to discover the divine
The program - a success beyond belief
The ninety minutes were really too brief
If you have listened to what I just said

I could tell you really enjoyed yourself. and you should!!
Ah, sleeping in, sleeping in, sleeping in. i never liked breakfast in bed, though - in europe, must have been france, of course, they would serve the continental as room service and the beds had trays - but i am ...sort of messy... and i hate crumbs in bed. but heaven to me is sleeping and waking and watching tv or a movie and sleeping again. sort of slept half the day today.
