The Walking Dead is fantastic U . s . post-apocalyptic horror television series designed for television by Frank Darabont and based on the comic series of an equivalent name . Michelle MacLaren directed 2nd episode. Executive producer Charles H. Eglee and co-executive producer Jack LoGiudice cowrote 3rd episode with Darabont that is directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton. The 4th part is written by exec. producer Robert Kirkman, the author and writer of The Walking Dead comic, and it's directed by Johan Renck. The 5th show was authored by Glen Mazzara and directed by Ernest Dickerson. The 6th part is authored by producer Adam Fierro and directed by Guy Ferland. The show is completely shot on 16 mm film. David Tattersall was the director of photography for the pilot episode with David Boyd as the director of photography on the rest of a show. Production design is performed by Greg Melton and Alex Hajdu. The special effects team consists of experienced special effects makeup artist Gregory Nicotero, effects manager Darrell Pritchett, and visual effects supervisors Sam Nicholson and Jason Sperling.

The Walking Dead second season:
On August thirty one, '10, Darabont reported the Walking Dead had been acquired for a second season, with development to begin with in February 2011. On November eight, 2010, AMC reconfirmed that there would be the second season comprising 13 shows.
