'The Game' Season 4, Episode 2 Preview for BET

On Tuesday, January 18, 2011, BET's "The Game" TV show returns for season 4, episode 2. The premiere episode last week was a record-breaking event, so the cast and crew are hoping for another huge night.  Actors Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Terrence J and Coby Bell star in the revived sitcom.

According to a previous Gather.com report, viewers had mixed reactions to the first episode of the popular sitcom. Some feel that the character developments were off, or that it was too much of a soap opera. Others praised the first episode and are ready to see what happens next for the hit show on BET.

A recap of episode 1, "It's On," appears on TheCelebrityCafe.com. The first episode featured several story lines including the new marriage of Melanie and Derwin.

There's also the changes within the San Diego Sabers football organization, wherein Derwin has become the face of the franchise, also scoring deals with Nike and a cover of Essence magazine.

Malik is on the cover of a football video game which carries a curse with it.

Tasha is single and ready to mingle as the new season began. She's romancing a younger man played by BET "106 & Park" host Terrence J. Also, "The Game" is incorporating a bit of a spoof with the fact they have Kelly trying to join a reality show called "Ex-Football Wives" just to gain spotlight. Meanwhile, her ex Jason is trying to thwart her attempts.

In week one, "The Game" set big records with millions of viewers tuning in. The sitcom may very well gain more viewers, based on its soap opera plot which also features some very funny situations. These will be the themes that will continue to unfold, as "The Game" season 4 episode 2 airs Tuesday night at 10PM EST on BET.
