Christian Bale Sings Wife's Praises

Actor Christian Bale sings his wife's praises, and even gets a little choked up while doing so. The Fighter star and wife Sibi Blazic have been married for more than ten years now.

According to a report from People Magazine, Bale says he doesn't talk about personal issues, like his wife, in the public very often. The reason for this is that he gets choked up every time he attempts to talk about her.

"I get choked up about that stuff," he says. "It's everything because I truly believe you can't celebrate (success) without having your partner with you.

Christian Bale and his wife were seen together Friday night at the Critics Choice Movie Awards, where he received the Best Supporting Actor role for his work with Mark Wahlberg in The Fighter.

Does anyone remember Christian Bale from his early days as an actor? Did you ever see the Disney film called The Newsies? In it Bale played the role of Jack Kelly, a newsie, during the great Newsboys Strike of 1899 that took place in New York City. In this role Bale both sings and dances, and is simply amazing. This movie was filmed in 1992. It is absolutely spectacular and completely entertaining.

It's nice to hear that there's a soft side to Christian Bale. Often we see only the suave and sophisticated or even the tough sides of these handsome Hollywood types. To hear one speak so sweetly of his wife and to get choked up while doing so kind of warms the heart.
