New Baby Goat! So Cute!

A 8 day old Mini- Nubian Goat!

 

When you go to your local Zoo, do you feed the Goats?

When Our Boy's were little we took them to our local Zoo

at least once a Month and we always got bottles so we

could feed the Goats. It was so much Fun!

This Mini-Nubian Goat is only 8 days old, and to me, He sure

is a BIG-BABY!  :)

He is such a Handsome Fellow!

You can see this Baby-Goat at the

Central Park Zoo!

Cute, my kids love to feed all the animals they are alloud to. Whenever we travel they ask is there a zoo in this city? They love the animals. Their favorite so far was the African Safari in Ohio, we had to go there twice it was so cool.

Josie, It has always been a Fun Family event for us to go to the Zoo. It is such a Great place to go with the whole Family. We Love our Local 'African -

He's so cute! When our children were little, we used to take them to the San Antonio Zoo frequently and they loved the Petting Zoo. Unfortunately, there was a goat in the petting zoo who seemed to have a score to settle with my eldest daughter, who was about 4 at the time. As she and her sister were feeding the other animals, one baby goat decided he needed to butt her. She was surprised but not hurt and kept feeding the other animals until the silly goat decided to butt her again. We stepped in between them because my daughter turned and lowered her head as if she was going to butt the goat back! One of the keepers finally came and rescued us from Goatzilla. LOL.

Sandre, I know this was Not-Funny at the time, but I Hope you can Laugh about it now! :) As a Mother, I would have been a bit scared at the time for my Child, but it sounds like you have a Daughter that is about as 'Head-Strong' as that Billy Goat! :)

He is precious. Whenever we went to a zoo, we always let our son feed the farm animals and he loved the goats and sheep the best. I still love seeing the goats. I love the noise they make.

Oh he is a cutie....I remember bottle feeding baby goats at my aunt's house...I was probably 7 at the time. The mom of the goats had died, so someone had to feed them.

we use to raise goats when the kids were young for 4-h I miss having them around they make great pets, well the females do the males are mean a lot of times

Actually, Harley prefers the Winter because of his long, thick coat of hair. He's quite content to lay outside in the snow. But I don't let him out for too long anymore because it isn't good for his joints and he gets really stiff if out for too long. This summer I will shave him down a bit so he can go outside without overheating.

Yes! I forgot about how heavy his coat is! I bet the Snow would Feel Good to him, and He doesn't realize that this is what can make his bones hurt worse! Shaving Him down would sure Help some!
