Lady Gaga To Make $100 Million In 2011 WHY????

So I just read that Lady Gaga is expected to make $100 Million this year alone and I have only one question.

WHY?

How does someone like her make that much money in one year? Secondly, how could we possibly know how much she will make in the next 12 months already?

Now, if someone could, please explain to me why and how does she make this much money. Her music is mediocre at best, she isn't as attractive as everyone makes her out to be. She does seem to have that shock value that we got from others like Marilin Manson...but where is he these days? Thats right, you don't know.

From what I have heard, she does write her own songs, and designs all her "costumes" herself, which earns her a few more points than most all the other pop singers out there. But really, does writing a song that the chorus doesn't actually include on word of English count as writing your own songs? Maybe its just me, but I don't see how someone who makes music that is pretty much mind numbing can be that valuable to society. there are quite a few other jobs that rank higher on my list of important things. Doctors, teachers, fireman, police officers just to name a few. Now we all know they don't make that much...let alone $11415.52 an hour. (Yeah i did the math.)

So please, somebody out there, tell me why. Why is lady gaga worth $100 million a year.
