We are cruising south through sunny magnificent New Mexico going back to TX after our ortho appt in Albuquerque. The docs have decided to try and pull the brpken titanium rod out of Bill's and replace it with a larger rod. They put the surgery on high priority so they could call at any time. It is a 10 hour drive for us (in good weather). O think amputation would have been the preverable alternative.
