Michele is seen stating, "Imagine for a moment that you're forced to do hard physical labor all day, seven days a week, whether it's sweltering hot or freezing cold outside. At the end of the day, instead of relaxing on an easy chair or sleeping in a comfortable bed, you're locked in a tiny closet all night long. That's what it's like for horses who are forced to pull carriages in New York City."
Wow, thatÂ’s really terrible! Who knew those poor horses were being worked so hard. Lea definitely has a way of pulling at oneÂ’s heart strings. But has she changed your mind about New YorkÂ’s horse-drawn carriages?
The long standing tradition has been going on since 1935. Chances are, it will continue on despite how many actors or actresses protest and boycott it. Lea Michele definitely knows it will take more than celebrities taking a stand against horse-drawn carriages. It takes normal, everyday people to stand together and boycott the entire industry. Will you become one of those boycotting alongside the Glee actress?
