As many of you know I am an avid cook and gardener. Winter is a tough time for me. I can't stand being closed in and with many medical problems I can't tolerate the cold and am afraid of falling.
I have started to receive my flower and seed catalogs already. Every year the companies send one and say that it will be my last, but they keep sending them. LOL!! They just want you to order. I have stopped ordering from them. The quality and quantity of the stuff has really gone down hill over the years. And the customer service is just awful.
I am really disappointed in alot of the companies. Many of them have been in business for years and they stink now. There is one company that I had ordered from for over 30 years and they are really bad now. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but after having to call and complain about every shipment for the past three years I have given up on them. What a shame.
Anyway, I can browse through the pages and dream of Spring. It's a long way off. I should just crawl in a cave and come out in the Spring.
So, I am cooking and baking alot. I am still doing my crocheting of hats for cancer patients and cleaning out my closets.
How do you keep busy over winter? Any hobbies?

I'm with you on winter. I'm an active person and don't like being confined...or the cold. During the winter I tackle a lot of indoor tasks like crafts, major organization projects, read, watch movies etc.
