Kyleigh's Story - Where's Daddy?

My husband showed Kyleigh his year books and asked Kyleigh to find where Daddy was. Kyleigh was able to find Daddy every time, even if his face was out of the picture or sideways or without glasses or buried in a large group picture, and some pictures were as early as 1998! She's definitely doing much better than me! I would not have recognized my own husband in those old photos.

that's soo cool, it's amazing the way a childs brain works...I think we often under estimate their abilities and brain function....as proven here! Is your husbands name Waldo? LOL just joking

Selene- Waldo is a book series where this tall skinny guy with glasses, a hat, red and white shirt and blue jeans is hidden in pictures with people, locations etc and your suppose to find it. They're called "Where's Waldo?" books.
In this case Debby was referring to Where's Daddy as waldo. =) Hope that helps.

That's awesome that she picked him out even all those years ago.Kids have a distinct ability to recognize certain things that stand out to them.

Thanks for the explanation! LOL.

My husband doesn't like to attract attention so he's almost always somewhere in the background of a group picture (if he's even in one). So I was really amazed that Kyleigh could find him.

That shows she is smart. Either she remembers (if she was in the picture with him) or she just knows what his arm or hand or side of his face looks like.

She wasn't in the picture... She wasn't even born!

The most amazing one was the one that my husband's face wasn't even in it. When Kyleigh pointed to it, we were like, "No, that's not.... wait, IT WAS!!! HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT!!!"
