Due to the weather and other circumstances, I’ve spent a LOT of time at home lately. Although I’ve tried to focus on upper body exercises, I have done little for my legs. I usually do my leg exercises while waiting for the bus, but I’ve been staying home, so that hasn’t happened.
Today, the temps were higher than normal, and the air was so nice, I decided to go down to the Indian buffet about 2 miles from my home… and I walked there. I stopped at the pet supply store a few blocks from the buffet, and then had a bit to carry for that last short distance.
At the restaurant I discovered that the menu was a little different than usual, The rice was made a different way, there were two different cauliflower dishes, two chicken dishes, and three desserts. I even had the salad this time, and two kinds of bread.
I like walking in the city. Even if there’s no one to walk with, there’s so much to look at and think about that the time goes rapidly. I was surprised that so many stores were open on New Year’s Day!
