Kourtney Kardashian, 31, graces the current cover of OK! Magazine in a royal blue bikini, looking like the model she is with no trace of “new mom” on her perfect abs (son Mason had his first birthday this month). Oops, she’s a reality star, too, but there is nothing “real” about a 45-pound loss on a body like hers. Had Kourt actually gained her way up to 140 pounds? Does she truly weigh only 95 pounds now? Both claims sound extreme. Neither claim sounds healthy.
Kourtney Kardashian must look like a Kardashian, after all, and the K-clan doesnÂ’t let itself go. So this has been a year fraught with problems. Weight gain. How to get the bod back.
In July, Kourtney fainted from over-dieting. So that wasnÂ’t the answer. The fact that she admits, says the Huffington Post, to a junk food addiction complicates things. Among her favorites:
- Double-Stuf Oreos
- Hostess Donettes
- Ruffles Sour Cream and Onion Chips
Okay, so now we know how she gained all the weight. DonÂ’t just blame it on baby fat.
But Kourtney Kardashian is up to the challenge. She shared a few of her weight loss tips with Just Jared. First, nurse a baby for a year. That lets you eat “all the time,” Kourtney says. Effective, but impractical for most women. Second, cut back on the junk food. Eat two cookies instead of the whole box. Make sensible choices. Have little meals throughout the day. Do you sense a pattern here? Old ideas, just penetrating?
Finally, Kourtney Kardashian embraced the whole workout thing. Well, she hinted that she did. What a concept. So far, her program sounds good, healthy, and right on. But 95 pounds? Is that some kind of anorexic joke?
