I posted about Uggs once before, UGG-A $140 For A Pair of Friggin' Boots???, and I never felt compelled to buy them, no matter how popular they are. But as I was shopping online for my kids at Aeropostale, I saw a pair of look-alike Uggs for $18, AND they were originally priced at $59.50~I couldn't pass that up! So along with the clothing I ordered for the kids, I bought the boots. I didn't put them on 'til Xmas morning, as I still wanted to surprise my kids with the clothes I bought. AND, I haven't taken them off since (well, at bedtime). These boots are soooooo comfortable~it's like wearing slippers. Now I understand the attraction young people have to Uggs. Plus the Aeropostale boots look like the real thing. When one of my daughter's friends came over later Xmas day, she exclaimed (no exaggeration), "Are those REAL???" So, for those of you who have contemplated buying Uggs, and didn't like the price tag, the faux Uggs might fit the bill. I just love my new fake Uggs!!!

See, I love them so much, I had to double-post the image!

Oops, forgot to mention~the boots got their first test out in the elements today. We got hit with a Nor'easter over the weekend, and I had to brave the snow & windy conditions to pick up a few necessities. Not to mention, the snow banks, the slush, icy sidewalks...I took them off when I got home to let them dry. An hour later, they were back on my feet! LOVE them!
