Which is better, the xbox360 kincet or the PS3 move?

A friend of my husband's has the move and loves it. He returned his Wii and all of the games after getting the move - said it's tons better. Don't know anything about the other.

Thanks April. I would sell our wii but I just bought my daughter the udraw pad for it and its pretty cool. The one disadvantage to the move is having to keep up with the controller and with the kincet your whole body is the controller.

Not sure- we haven't used the Kinect at all, but we wound up getting the MOVE for free from Houseparty, and the kids love it. Hubby wants to eventually get a Kinect as well, but that's going to wait a while.

We bought the kinect and played it once before our xbox360 decided to take a dump....I'm so flustered cause know I have a $150 kinect and no xbox360.

I don't know but I'm sorry we bought the wii years ago. The ps3 seems to have been the better buy for us overall. The wii hasn't been used in awhile.

I loved the wii when we first bought it but then the longer we had it the less I cared for it up until Christmas. I bought my daughter the udraw for the wii with 2 games and we've had a blast with it.

I would like to snag a Kinect soon - we won a Move as Heather pointed out. I can give you some comments and notions so far though from what I've read and been told by others.

In favor of the Move:

- there's less delay than the Kinect and it is supposed to be a bit more accurate too.
- It's a bit cheaper if you're only getting 1 set of controls and/or already have a Playstation Eye camera
- You can operate it in less space than the Kinect. From what I have read, the Kinect requires a fairly large, open living room to map everything out properly

For Kinect:

- No additional controllers needed. The move, if you want to get 'full sets' for 2 or more people, can be a bit more expensive
- The camera is supposed to be a bit better on this, and it also has some pretty cool voice recognition as well
- The scores on IGN and Gamespot have been slightly favorable toward the Kinect over the Move's lineup so far, but both have pretty big titles coming down the pipe soon.

both units can be somewhat sensitive to light conditions in a room from what I've read as well. hope this is of some help - feel free to drop me a line if you have other questions about them.

Thanks, Nick! That's great information. We will probably end up getting both of them but as I just told, Heather, we bought the Kinect and now the 360 took a dump on us. I'm so flustered. Maybe I should just go out and buy the move and see what happens with my ps3....(just kidding)

I have no idea. I have neither of them nor have I have I ever seen either of them.

the kinec is full body while the wii can still be played from the couch by waving your arms around
I am just dropping a line to all my gather friends, I have been off line for 2 weeks and with over 1200 e-mails to sort through I will not be posting to old entries, now this does not mean that I don't love you all, it just means that I can not spend the better part of 2 days in front of the computer.

My kids liked the kinec best. I have no idea.

Great post wish I could help you but I don't play games and simply don't know which is best. One of my sons loves xbox and the other loves ps3.
