FIrst White Christmas in Atlanta area in 128 years

I hope everyone had a great Christmas yesterday. We got a special treat...the first white Christmas in metro Atlanta in 128 years! It derailed one major plan for our family...getting to meet Rosie's boyfriend Jason's toddler for the first time (except I met him once before, when Rosie and Jason weren't together yet, but that was over a year ago.) But hopefully we will get to meet him today, if the roads are clear.

Aside from that, it was awesome! I tried to show the snow to Adeleine, but she's less than a week  old and she wouldn't wake up and focus on it:) It's still all over the ground outside and it looks like it may snow more, possibly!

We don't have to go into the office until after New Year's, so let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

There is a major snowstorm bearing down on the area where I live, so I'm not quite so enthused about the white stuff, but enjoy your snow.

Other than the problems, that must have been pretty neat... 128 years is some time, LOL.

That is awesome! We almost always have snow on the ground for Christmas, but yesterday was the first time in a long time that it snowed on Christmas day. We always have a storm right before and right after and no here cares about it, they still drive in the storm to get where they have to go so both my brothers drove here and then home instead of staying the night.

Isn't this awesome? I couldn't believe how much snow we got....though the roads were pretty icy by this morning and probably will be tomorrow morning too. I don't really have anywhere to be, so it's not a big deal to mea either. I love having the snow.

It's melting here a lot quicker than I thought it would, though. I thought it would at least last until tomorrow. It's just patchy here now.Oh, well, if it lasted longer we wouldn't appreciate it as much.

It started around 6, when we were leaving my cousin's house in Ellenwood and we ran into the stuff from Ellenwood to about Lamar County and then it turned into rain.
