Happy Boxing Day!

I hope all my Gather friends are enjoying the holidays and looking forward to the new year. Thanks to you, I was able to order a CVS gift card yesterday--a pleasant Christmas surprise. I won't be keeping it, though. I'll be giving it to my cousin, who has four kids. She worked very hard to make sure they all had a good Christmas and now she deserves to pick out something nice for herself.

We don't actually celebrate Boxing Day in the U.S.A, though I understand it actually has something to do with giving to charity. Just for fun, though, enjoy this boxing video.

I enjoyed the trailer for the boxing movie, based on a true story.
I will go see the movie this week, while I have so time off.

Well we enjoyed our Boxing Day here in Toronto... and the malls were all open with Boxing Day sales. There is significant discussion every year about the origin of the tradition... it is one of our "stat" holidays here.... but I can tell you that it has nothing to do with the kind of boxing your video describes...! :-)
