Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman to Be Evicted

Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman may find herself out on the streets after the holidays. Her landlord is said to be starting eviction proceedings to force her and her children from their home.

According to RadarOnline, Amer Haddadin loaned Nadya Suleman the money to buy her home in La Habre, California. She has owed him a balloon payment in the amount of $450,000 since back in October. He has repeatedly threatened her and her fourteen children with eviction, but she still hasn't made any payments on the money she owes.

Back in August, Nadya Suleman transferred the title of her home to her lawyer, Jeff Czech, but that doesn't seem like it has any bearing whatsoever on the ability for Haddadin to evict her.

It seems that the owner of the home loaned Suleman the money to purchase it, while likely thinking she would make a lot of money on public appearances, a book deal, TV shows and the like after giving birth to octuplets. That never really panned out, and Nadya Suleman was forced to hold a giant yard sale in an attempt to raise money to pay her bills. She was reportedly offered a couple of deals from porn film companies, but turned those down.

It has got to be extremely difficult to raise fourteen children, but Nadya Suleman knew full well what she was doing when she became pregnant with her octuplets. While it certainly isn't the fault of her fourteen children, nor should they pay for her not being able to support them, she clearly acted negligently in purchasing this house without a stable source of income.

Hopefully there will be a less expensive place for Nadya Suleman and her children to live once she is evicted from her home. This lady is clearly in way over her head and needs to downsize her living expenses in order to survive.

Owes $450,000....yikes! I can't imagine having a house that is even close to that expensive.....we could never afford it. She is so over her head....with everything it seems.

I feel conflicted when I consider her situation. On one hand I am sympathetic to the plight of a single mom. I can only imagine how crazy the bills must be for 14 children. The idea that it is Christmas, and that all children deserve a special holiday, makes me sad that they probably did not have a big holiday with all the gifts like my child did. On the other hand, she chose to be greedy about her child birth experience and added the massive amount of babies to an already financially challenged household when she birthed her last litter.

I know you think it is harsh to call her babies a litter, but there is no word for multiple births that can adequately describe the decision to have eight babies at the same time. I am still scratching my head trying to figure out ho she was able to afford the fertilization surgery that got her impregnated; since she was on public assistance at the time of her 'conception'.

I do not think she should do porn to pay her babies way, but it is time to do SOMETHING to cover the expenses. This case seems to have a moral in it. Plan ahead? Don't bite off more than you can chew? Look before you leap? I am sure the list goes on and on.

In the meantime, she is about to be homeless and I wonder if a shelter can even help a family of this size adequately.

Someone will step forward and help her. She's a media darling. Maybe Jimmy Carter will build her a house and some drug company will give her free collagen for life.

She is a selfish, childish woman who had eight children specifically to make money off of them. There's no other way to see it. She thought she was going to be raking in the cash on these precious little children, so she used them to get this house. I have zero sympathy for her, and honestly, all of her children deserve a better mother.

When one gets the kind of proceedure one never knows how many children they will wind up with. Many times not all the babies implant. Already having so many children, it makes one wonder why she decided to do this, but she could have wound up with just one new baby and people tend to dismiss this.

It really dismays me that people are so harsh about this. Not that long ago, maybe 100-150 years ago, this size family was not unusual. My Grandmother was born in 1900 and was the 6th child of 11. Her mother did sewing and laundry to help support her family while her husband was at sea.

At least Nadia did not stoop so low to do porn.

And the large families did not come from fertility treatments. There's a little bit of a difference here having 11 kids and going and having 8 kids at one time due to fertility treatments......

I don't think there would be the sentement there is, if she hadn't been so self absorbed.

And she could have had only one baby because the other's failed, she would have had 7 children and we never would have heard of her...

I'm no fan of hers, don't get me wrong, but the hatred towards her is amazing to me and how people, if she would have been married with no children would have said what a miracle. Other couples are on tv with multiple births like hers and people go out of the way to make them celebrities and give them stuff.

I think it backfired on her, for sure, but in the mean time the children are here and hatred for her is not going to help them.

The doctor who implanted 8 embryos should lose his medical license. I went through fertility treatments myself, and the ethical standard is no more than four embryos at a time. The more embryos, the higher the risk for the mother AND the babies. Those 8 babies were born prematurely, they probably all have handicaps because of that prematurity. That is not okay. Nadya had no right to make that decision for 8 little lives, especially since the children she had prior to this are also handicapped.

I don't hate this person. I hate what she's done, why she did it, and I hate that children will suffer because of her flat-out selfishness. She deserves to be evicted. Her children don't; but because she's their mother, someone who feels sorry for her kids will help her out and she'll get another free ride. That is wrong, considering all the goodhearted people out there who are more deserving of help.

Nadya has brought this on herself.

And the ones effected most by this is the kids. Nadya doesn't care about anyone but herself. Her parents supported her and she never once paid them. She received disability payements, what did she do with the money? Plastic surgery and fertility treatments.

Her parents went through bankruptcy and lost their home because of her.
She got pregnant with a brood in hopes to get endorsements, when it was found out and reported about her methods, her greed, everything fell flat.

I suspect that she hasn't been evicted because of the kids, but I have very strong feelings about this woman, and not much nice to say about her.

I too have only consideration is for the safety of the children. They really should be put up for adoption the way I see it. It is just not humanly possible to be a GOOD, let alone single, mother to 14 children and it being a healthy situation.
