Demi Lovato will be allowed to leave the rehab facility she has been in for the past several weeks, to spend Christmas at home with her family.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Demi Lovato will be released to spend Christmas at home. She has been in a rehab facility since around Halloween when she had a breakdown of sorts and punched one of her dancers in the face. Lovato was on a concert tour with the Jonas Brothers when all of this took place, and her family arranged for her to enter a rehab facility.
A spokesperson for Demi Lovato told the media she was in rehab for "emotional and physical issues," but rumor has it she also has a drug addiction. At least her family is behind her to make sure she gets the kind of help she needs.
The young starlet is also a cutter. This means she cuts herself in an effort to lessen some other pain she is suffering. Sometimes this is the result of a broken relationship, a sense of inferiority or a deep need for attention.
Lovato is just 18 years old and is a beautiful young actress and singer with lots of talent. She stars in Disney's "Camp Rock" series of movies and she also stars in the Disney TV show "Sonny With a Chance."
Hopefully Christmas at home will be good for Demi Lovato. To be surrounded by a loving family can go a long way toward helping all kinds of issues. How nice that she can spend this time with them at Christmas.
When Demi Lovato returns to rehab after Christmas she may even feel a sense of renewal that will strengthen her for the counseling and therapy sessions she will endure. She is expected to start filming for a part in the new "Avengers" movie on April 1.
