War on Christmas: 'Christmas is Evil' Poster Campaign in the UK
And the war on Christmas continues.
A 'banned Islamic hate group,' Islam4UK, plans to put up 'thousands' of billboards around the UK that claim that Christmas is the reason for: rape, teenage pregnancies, abortion, promiscuity, crime, pedophilia, domestic violence (and that is not the complete list). As noted in today's Daily Mail, the organizers hope to 'destroy Christmas' with this campaign.

Christmas is a wonderful holiday, the only part that I am not crazy about all the drama and rat race of commercialism. They will never suceed in taking away Christmas. It is loved by to many.
The day is just there. For all of us.
Our religions separate us, and that's fine. But God put us in a society of people. Use this holiday for what is special to you. And enjoy the freedom. And smile at all the other people God created :)
It can't be outdated or outworn. It sure isn't useless. It's 24 hrs like any other day.
If you are speaking of the fact that people aren't all thinking about Christ ... ohhhhhh maybe that's what you mean. Christianity being irrelevant? Nah. You wouldn't mean that even though it's not your thing.
Why do you want it to fade away? Can't you just enjoy it as a day off. Even an extra day to worship your God? I think about mine all day off and on. I love it.
It was a pagan holiday and Christians chose to use the festive day to worship and remember Christ instead. Everybody else can do the same. Since it is a tradition in USA on a national scale, why doesn't everyone choose to form it to your own needs. Worship your own god, write love letters to your sweetie :)
I just don't see any reason for people to be snarly when they can choose anything in the world to celebrate that day. It's fun for the whole nation to be celebrating together even if we are celebrating different thing.
Does it bother you that people buy each other gifts for Christmas? I think it is cool. Spending our money on others is good. The family tries to all get together. Yaaaa.
God is in the midst of us. We love Him. Most of us try to live for Him.
And btw, you little jack ... (only having fun with you) why do you doubt the reason for the season? If you want Him He reveals Himself to you. If you don't want Him He doesn't. But He does want you. He likes cute little donkeys :) And ugly stick ladies like me.
