I agree. Oddly enough, I saw this in a humor article.

My feeling is to learn to control desire, so not to cause self or others sorrows.

I am a Christian, but I love Buddha's teachings and study these along with other teachings. I believe there are many ways, including what the Buddha says is 'The Middle Way.'

I thought Christ's teachings were very sharp and clear. I could have sworn that Christ said:"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." So suddenly there are dozens of other ways??. Help me out here! LOL P.S. I guess we could twist the Word as has been done countless times before in its history.

I don't see the word only. As for twisting The Word, I simply don't know why you state the obvious. Make sure though you do not judge from being overly self righteous. I would suggest student from a variety of sources and not just those connected to the Evangelical movement. Although I was a Baptist, I personally found the Catholic Church had actually taken time to document things without twisting things.
I'm here to write poems and humorous satire. I said what I said. I will not argue, so unless your tone of language gentler, our conversation on this subject is finished.
