I dropped off my car this morning to get it repaired. The technician just called and told me it was done. The bill came to $1,600 and change.
Tomorrow we are dropping off my husband's car so it can be fixed and we will finally be back to have two healthy cars again.
I have spent nearly $10,000 in the last 6 months on all sorts of things. I got things I wanted (e.g., an HDTV), things I was happy to pay for (e.g., plane tickets for my mom and Kyleigh), things I had to fix (e.g., the cars, the A/C, my teeth, just to name a few), and things I wish I never had to deal with (e.g., other family members' debts).
I am still looking at more expenses, like the water filtration system, the broken toilet, and who knows what else.
I believe I have done more than my share of stimulus spending to boost the economy!
(This is a rant, by the way, with my dry humor.)
