Nothing new, nothing different, and nothing exciting, as of yet!
On the premier of Basketball Wives 2, the Fab 5 has reunited. Shaunie, Evelyn, Jennifer, Royce and Suzie met up to catch up on what's been going on.
Royce has a new man, Suzie is trying to find herself, Evelyn still has her store, but no man, and Jennifer is at the same place she was last season, at home alone with her pet dogs.
While Jennifer and Evelyn were out at a restaurant Al Reynolds, Star Jones, ex-husband stopped by. He alarmed them that he knew what Jen, Evelyn, and Suzie did in Vegas. Evelyn was furious and she immediately confronted Suzie.
Suzie defended herself and apologized for talking to Al. She claimed that she didn't tell Al that Evelyn slept with anyone. Later on Shaunie got the ladies together at her suite to discuss what happened. Evelyn told Suzie she felt betrayed and she no longer wanted to be friends. Royce tried to get Evelyn to forgive Suzie and let t go, but Evelyn's mind was made up. Once again Suzie apologized and left Shaunie's suite.
Meanwhile Shaunie introduced Evelyn and Jennifer to a new girl named Tami. Tami came from MTV's The Real World. She was married to former NBA star Kenny Anderson. She revealed that she had hit hard times, that resulted to her being on foodstamps. She told Shaunie she signed a prenup and was left with nothing, except two daughters. When Jen and Evelyn met Tami they had mixed opinions of her.
Just because she wasn't flossing like them, doesn't mean she's beneath them. She was too once married to an athlete, Evelyn was not!
Evelyn talked about her hair and nails, while Jennifer joked about being on foodstamps. The ladies were already judging Tami before they even got to know her. Shaunie advised them to give her a chance. Let's see how that goes!
Jennifer, who is still married but single at the same time, called Shaunie for some advice about her and Eric. Jen took Shaunie up on her advice and texted her husband. She invited him to something special she was planning. What ever it is involves lingerie, so Eric should be thrilled.
On this season of Basketball Wives, some of these ladies are in for a rude awakening. Suzie has been confiding in Gloria from last season, and the other wives aren't going to be happy about it. Evelyn should have let what happened between she and Suzie go, but it's too late now. Throughout the season more claws are bound to come out. Tami is bringing the hood to the basketball wives and she's not ashamed of it!
