What is your biggest Pet Peeve?

What's the first thought that comes to your mind, when you think of a pet peeve.? Something that really just get's on your nerves.

 

I can't stand it when you're going on a walk and you step on fresh sticky chewing gum.

Or when you just wash your car and a bird decides to poop on it.

 

So what is some things that just irritates you so bad....to cause them to be your pet peeves?

I can't stand when people don't pay attention to what they're doing -- like when they're walking and they just about run into you, and it's your duty to get out of the way.

My pet peeve is when visiting someone's house hanging my coat up..and having the pockets searched..the contents of my belongings checked and scrutinzed...all when am not looking... Gets my goat up.
The other pet peeve is to have someone standing behind me making gestures so that I don't see them..could be good, though, could be bad too..the doubt leaves me irritable and want to move away to keep an eye open why certain people do that is unknown to me.

Probably my biggest pet peeve is the milk being left out, I can't stand milk that isn't as cold as I want it.

Three came to mind (because someone did them earlier this morning...all three), but smacking is a big one for me. I can't stand when people smack while eating their food.

People that write regurgitated news here on Gather and don't check a single fact, or they just change a few words from a bigger news channel, like US Weekly, to make it "their own".

I know what you mean! I had to deal with that a lot while growing up..I was always the one cleaning the house & doing chores & my brothers weren't made to do anything

Well it isn't the fact that I have to do it is that comments are made when I don't do things on someone else time table. I have my own way and time of doing things.
