Donald Trump announces bid for Presidency yesterday - well, not quite! But lets call it what it is, he is announcing his intentions to run for President for all practical intents and purposes. People know how to read between the lines. Sure there is a chance he might NOT run when the time comes, but normally when announcing possibilities most candidates have already weighed out the pros and cons, and then it does become a reality.
Watching the Apprentice for the past few years and watching Trump info on twitter, one thing is really clear; Donald Trump cares about America. He is patriotic and hard core do what is best for good 'ole USA. You would think with Celebrity Apprentice, Trump Tower, and all his wheeling dealing real estate ways, he would want to stay out of politics. Maybe this quote from "The Trumpster" will help to explain.
“For the first time really would think about it. And I am thinking about it. It doesn’t mean I want to do it. I’d prefer not doing it. I’m having a lot of fun doing what I’m doing. It’s a great time to be buying things. I’m buying a lot of things and really having a good time,â€
“But I hate - you know, I’m very proud of this country. I’m very proud to be an American. And frankly, I hate what I’m seeing. I hate that friends of mine from Europe, from Asia, from all over the world - they’re telling me stories about this country,†- Donald Trump
In listening to Trump over the years, you get a sense of the pride he has for America and the care and concern that America does well. He has backed projects to help Americans get on their feet. The current "Apprentice" show is featuring candidates that have suffered and lost businesses because of the economy. Inspirational, is all that could be said about his current Apprentice show. Many Americans want a President with business experience, perhaps Trump could fit that bill.

It might be tougher for tycoons, tho. They're used to deference. Power. Now. Not after they're elected.
Is Trump going to haul out his Rosie O'Donnell reaction, when somebody smartmouths him?
I'm less concerned about his ability to be Pres. Trump, than I am whether he can be Candidate Trump.
Could he take the heat that's focused on Palin, and keep his cool? Or is he going to be off on a big Rosie-tangent?
Just a good ol' You're fired!
