Rumors about Oprah being a lesbian have been going around for a long time. The rumors involve Oprah and her best friend Gayle King. Finally, in her Barbara Walters interview, the talk show queen addressed these rumors.
With tears Oprah said, "I'm not a lesbian. I'm not even kind of a lesbian." She is irritated that people wouldn’t believe her when she said she is not. She is also aggravated that somebody would think she would try to hide it if she were a lesbian. If Oprah was a lesbian why would she deny it? The two are incredibly lucky to share this type of friendship. It is amazing.
On Gayle, Oprah said, "She is the mother I never had. She is the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don't know a better person." Their long-time friendship is beautiful. Two women can absolutely be best friends forever and not be gay. Gayle and Oprah are those kind of friends.
As for a romantic relationship, Oprah has been with Stedman Graham for the past 20 years, which is how long she’s been close friends with Gayle. Oprah and Stedman share a house and have been together for a long time. Oprah said he is the love of her live.
Did you ever think that Oprah and Gayle are lesbian? Why did these rumors even start? It seems like people were just trying to be nasty about their incredibly close friendship. I could care less, I don't care one way or the other.
What I do wish is that she would just shut up.
I have no use for her, or her words.
She may be generous as all get out, but her priorities seem to be children of other countries, and she ignores the problems of the U.S.
The ultimate turn off was her shoving her beloved candidate Barry Boy down our throats during the last elections, she used her show and her status as a political platform....
She is a woman who truly disgusts me.
