Chaz Bono documentary set to 'change hearts'

Sonny and Cher's daughter, Chastity Bono had a sex change and became Chaz Bono. Now, he's ready to open up about his operation and talk about it with the world (or anyone who wants to listen).

Bono will be making a documentary about his procedure and about how he feels as a transgendered person. He says, "I hope it's going to help change hearts and minds on this issue so that people can fully understand" (Entertainment Tonight).

We think it's great that Chaz Bono is going to make a documentary about the recent events in his life. A lot of people are curious about him and want to know more. It's really interesting because many people like Cher - okay they love her - and it makes them a bit more open to Chaz' decision to have a sex change. A lot of people who grew up with Cher have a hard time understanding things of this nature, so we're totally on board with this documentary.

Bono also says that the documentary will show "more than anybody's ever seen before." The film is expected to be released some time next year (Entertainment Tonight).
