Spinach Artichoke Dip – So Easy a Three Year Old Can Make It!

My In-Laws have appetizers the evening before Thanksgiving, so when I was chosen by Gather to review the Spinach Artichoke Dip, I thought it would be a great thing to bring that Little Miss could help make since she loves helping in the kitchen.

I was a little nervous about bringing the dip – my husband’s parents can be picky eaters, but they both loved it!  This is a great dip to take to your holiday gatherings.  If you happen to end up with leftovers, the dip also makes a great quesadilla filling!

It's also incredibly easy to make.  Other than chopping up the artichokes, there is very little work involved.  Little Miss was thrilled that she could pretty much make the entire thing herself!

Cooking with kids is one thing I feel strongly about and I'm happy to see someone doing it and writing about it! Kudos to you. I never had to worry about bringing that sort of thing to my in-laws because my mother-in-law served this and a wonderful variety of other goodies. She was the queen of dips, cheeses & cheeseballs and post-war recipes!

Thanks! I think cooking is a great way to make learning fun, and it also teaches them how to be independent. There are so many lessons that can be incorporated with cooking - reading, math, problem solving, nutrition - the list goes on!
