When those owners are clearly in cahoots with government, I really don't see why it should whether or not, technically speaking, the people who are treating us like criminals are government employees or not.
I suggest we have two kindsof flights from now on: 1) no security at all - no bag checking, no screening, no limit on what you can take on the plane. Make them cheaper, because they will be less expensive for airlines overall; and, 2) continue to place greater and greater security on the other flights, depending on what the next plot the terrorists come up with (now, people cannot ship toner cartridges on planes anymore).
Leave it up to the individual to decide which flight they want to be on.
I'd bet my life on American whiner scaredy-cats not being able to pull that one off.
