Republican prospects for 2012............

First, Donald Trump:

"I love this country and I have had tremendous pressure over the years for me to run, but I've never had it like now," Trump said on CNN's "John King, USA." "I'd rather not do it. I'd rather have somebody in there that's gonna straighten out the country."

I think you better go with the "somebody else" thing, Donald.

second, Tim Pawlenty:

"One thing I am planning is that if I don't run for president, I'm going to open a margarita bar in Florida," Pawlenty told CNN national political correspondent Jessica Yellin. "I'm going to get some Kenny Chesney music; I'm going to get a flower shirt."

sounds like a plan, Tim. The flower shirt/margarita bar thing, not running for President.

third, Barbara Bush on Sarah Palin:

"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush said. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."

Ha ha ha ha! With friends like certain fellow Republicans, Sarah Palin does not really need to worry about Dems.......
