American native Natalee Holloway has been missing since 2005. Presumed dead, her family continues to look for answers, closure, and justice.
In the most recent development in this case, a jawbone was found. Thought to be human, investigators have asked the Holloway family for Natalee's dental records. If this jawbone is proven to be Natalee's it will be a huge break in this case.
Today, Natalee Holloway's mother, Beth, released the following statement. "There is no good answer, whether it is Natalee or whether it isn't. But no answer at all is the most unbearable. We appreciate everyone's loving care and concern and are anxious about the developments" (via FOX AL).
Of course there isn't a "good" answer when talking about a jawbone, but if in fact the bone did belong to Holloway, wouldn't that be a "good" answer? Mr. and Mrs. Holloway cannot possibly think that their daughter is alive somewhere. It's very sad, but very realistic and they should be praying that the bone belongs to their daughter so that they can start getting the answers that they've been searching for. It's been a long time and this case may have just picked up speed.
