Hey Moms!

Did you have another crazy, busy, tons-to-do kind of week? Do your weeks just go on and on and on? Well get ready to take some time for yourself and relax with other Gather Moms every Wednesday.

We’ll post a new article like this one each Wednesday and give you the chance to chill out and chat with your friends about the many things you experienced. Tell us what you did each day – where you took the kids, how you get quality time with your family, what you made for dinner, how many hats you wore, etc. This is your chance to just vent away and get some R&R for yourself!

had a pretty good day, worked, came home to a nice cooked meal...ice cream cake that a friend wrote on (I have a lot of friends at the grocery store because of working there so my husband went to pick up my cake and said that he wasn't allowed to have it just say happy birthday Katryn)

then went to choir practice, made it home in time to catch the end of the Kraft chat...am now here...and will go to bed at the end of Late Night mom chat ;)

Do I have a story to share tonight! I went to the dentist's last Friday to take care of a tooth that I cracked on a popcorn kernel (it had to be pulled, WAH!) Well, I had a filling done a couple of weeks ago, and they pulled that tooth by accident instead of the one they were supposed to!

Yep! The dentist put it right back in and it's re-attaching, but now I have to have a root canal and a crown on it. They're paying for all of that...

Well, as far as a new tooth, the thing is this: the tooth will reattach itself, justlike any other bone that gets broken. The nerve is the issue, hence the root canal. The dentist wanted to do it a week from today; I had to show him the calendar to explain why that's such a bad idea. LOL

No, honestly, Teresa, it was a paperowrk snafu. I went to a specialist to have the tooth pulled. I had to take a referral from my regular dentist for the operation, and the person who wrote the referral was the one who erred by writing the wrong tooth down.

Hopefully they won't need to. I had an Xray Tuesday morning and the tooth is already reattaching itself very well. The dentist says it might even be stronger than it was originally, as the roots seem to have thickened a bit.

Last week one of the kids was having a birthday and I commented that mine was next Wednesday...then today another kid that was there came in and actually remembered and wished me happy birthday...his mom asked if it was really my birthday and I said yep and she wondered how he know so I told her, I was shocked that his memory was that good :)

(I have certain kids that I know will be there certain days of the week and this family is pretty much a Wednesday regular)

I usually stay up the entire night before we leave on a trip. I clean up and pack with no one hanging around me. When my husband wakes up the bags are in the front room . . . the dishes are done and then I sleep most of the trip! I seem to think better in the quiet. If I try to pack with people milling around me I end up forgetting things.

I usually pack slowly a good week leading up to the day of the trip...and make sure everyone else packs...

I wouldn't call it a pleasure trip exactly. My baby neices are getting are getting baptized on Sunday morning. We're also going to see Christopher and celebrate Thanksgiving. It's just so much work for me though.

Hopefully I'll sleep at least the first few hours of the trip.

Seriously Trish! Tidbit starts pouting when the shoes go on. And then she follows me all over the house til I leave, escorts me out the back door and whines as I'm getting in the car. Generally she is sitting on a chair on the porch waiting for me when I return and just cries and cries like I left for a week instead of a half hour or something, LOL

We have a theater that does movies for $4 a ticket before noon on Saturdays so we can scrape together $16 for the 4 of us to go...and luckily most don't seem to go early Saturday mornings so they aren't that full usually either, even the popular ones like that...

wow what a story I hate the dentist. Im on my phone now so Im typing and replying very slowly. Trying to spend quality time with the hubby and watch a movie. Multitasking is whatw e moms do best. I have two kiddos. I work PT. Drop one off at pre-k the other at grandmas every day. And I take each of them to dance each week of course its gotta be on different days. Then home for dinner, baths, story time etc. Thats pretty much my day. I hope to be a stay at home mom and home school them by next summer!

You sure have a busy life! Our daughter went from 1 to 3 children in diapers this summer when she had her twins. She works full-time (a surgical PA) and hates being away from the kiddos so much. I hope her world calms soon!

Oh, and watch out....our movie theaters jacked the price up on the new Harry Potter too. It costs $1 - 2 more than the other movies. That just ticked me off. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for the ticket.

I am hoping to take the kiddos to the Swan Drive In in Blue Ridge GA this weekend to see a double feature, Harry Potter and Life As We Know It. It is only $6 for adults and $4 for one of the kids the other one is free. And their popcorn etc is really cheap too. But the cool thing is you can take your own stuff in and they dont care.

Not really I explained to my daughter what Veterans day was all about. I did participate in a blog hop in which people posted scrapbook page layouts, cards etc and shared their personal military stories it was very inspiring.

My husband and I went with another couple who are both veterans, then invited a couple who were waiting for a table to join us, as we had gottena six-seater. It was very pleasant, we have Army, Navy (me), and Marines all eating together and chatting. Applebee's had a big poster for us to sign at the end of the meal and took pictures of us all. Totally fun!

I love it!!!! I actually am about 45 min north of Atlanta right now sort of in the mountains so its not too bad as far as population goes. I dont really go to Atlanta much. I am planning to move to Savannah next fall which is very close to the beach and very historical (like a lot of PA is).

My eldest sister lived in Athens for a couple of years...my eldest niece was born there...

I grew up outside of Buffalo, NY (mostly) and then moved to Colorado with hubby (first daughter born there) then back to NY then to NC (to a base I also lived with my family as a child, ironically) then to AZ and then in 2002 we moved to PA
