Sassy is a sucker for any foods labeled "limited edition".  She wants to taste-test those goodies before they are gone from the shelves forever.  Sometimes that is not such a good thing.

These Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts are $3.25 for a 12-count box.  I was not happy about the 12-count box deal.  I would have preferred an 8-count box, that would have been $1 cheaper and what if I didn't like them?  Which, I don't.

Are you one of those pie-eaters who eats the best part of the pie and leaves the rim of crust on your plate?  If you are, then you are not going to like these.  On the list of ingredients, "pumpkin" falls in the "less than 2%" group.  These are all crust and hard frosting.

As for flavor, not exactly in the homemade pumpkin pie ballpark.  Not even on the same continent.  And now I'm stuck with a 12-count box of these.  Maybe the bluejays would enjoy some dessert.  I'm going to put them in a bird feeder.

On a scale of one to ten, Sassy awards Kellogg's Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts a 2.  Only die-hard Pop Tart fans would enjoy these.  If you do buy, they need to be toasted.  They are even worse eaten cold right out of the box.
