Monday Morning - MWE

Good Morning.Â Yes for me it is still morning.Â Today is I love to write day.Â Monday morning comes round again.Â Gather Writing Essential is looking for some drabble this morning.Â It's too early in the morning for my mind to grapple math.Â To celebrate writing, I worked my creative juices on an acrostic instead.

Menial labor
Offers no rest
Nestled in warm sheets
Dreading the shrill
Alarm clock ring
Yanking sweet slumber

Misty-eyed
One stumbles out of bed
Rueful of the sunshine
No rest for the weary
Intones in your head
Neglect slippers and robe
Groping for coffee comfort

Acrostics are fine.... Heck, I would have loved to get out of bed last week. I had the flu (the reason I am so late with reading submissions, sorry)

I try hard not to lament the inablity to work. Next time I get in that mood, I think I'll come here and smile - knowing this is one problem I do not share. Mondays don't bother me anymore - past that nagging feeling that I just spent another week of my life not getting done what was planned. ;)
