The New Italian Cinema Festival will pull up on its shiny red vespa to SIFF Cinema next week to bring Italy’s newest directors and films. This five-day fest will feature recent films from breakthrough Italian filmmakers and highlight Gabriele Salvatores (Mediterraneo, I’m not Scared) whose work has earned him a trip up to the podium on Oscar night.
