Justin Bieber Busted Knee in Concert: Justin Bieber experienced a painful mishap during his tour stop in Cleveland. The 16-year-old injured his knee midway through the show at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center on Thursday night, November 11. “Busted my knee last night in the middle of the show. Not fun,†he tweeted.
Despite the injury, the “Baby†hitmaker pushed through and managed to finish his performance. He wrote on his Twitter page about it, “Finished the show with a sweet limp.†An inside source informed E! News that the pop singer went straight to his tour bus to nurse his injury soon after wrapping up the show.
As for how bad his injury is, Justin’s representative told E!, “Justin was seen limping on stage last night, however, he finished his set. We are hoping it’s just a bad sprain.†Justin himself has given an update on his condition by posting a tweet that read, “Knee is swollen today but all good. Spending some quality time with @studiomama.â€
This isn’t the first time the Canadian singer suffered an injury while performing. When opening for country superstar Taylor Swift at the famous Wembley Arena in London in November 2009, he tripped on stage and fractured his foot. “In the last song ‘One Time,’ I tripped over something on stage coming down the ramp and felt my ankle roll in a very bad way,†he tweeted at the time.
In another news, Justin’s new song “Pray†from his upcoming acoustic album, “My Worlds Acousticâ€, has sneaked out on Friday, November 12. In this inspirational song, he sings for a better day. Part of the lyrics read, “But I know there’s sunshine behind that rain / I know there’s good times beyond that pain / Hey, can you tell me how I can make a change.â€
“My Worlds Acoustic†itself will be out in stores across the U.S. on Black Friday, November 26. Justin explained previously to MTV News, “I really think that I did an acoustic album because there’s a lot of haters out there that say, ‘ Justin Bieber can’t sing. His voice is all Auto-Tuned.’ … I think kind of stripping it down and having it kind of really mellow and being able to hear my voice is why I wanted to do it.â€
